Semaglutide (also known as Ozempic or Wegovy) is an FDA-approved injectable glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonist that is administered once weekly to help with long-term weight management. Starting Dosage:
The starting dose is 0.25mg once a week for the first 3 weeks is recommended. This will allow your body to get used to the medicine.
Maintenance Dosage:
At Week 4, our healthcare professional recommends to increase the dose to 0.5mg once a week, to be given for at least a further 3 weeks.
Additional Control Dosage:
1-2 mg once weekly can be dosed after the Starting dose (0.25 mg) and Maintenance Dose (0.50mg) has been completed. 1-2 mg once weekly is advised if additional blood sugar control is required.

Your A1C needs may shift as your type 2 diabetes changes. That’s why Semaglutide® can be administered in doses of 1 mg or doses of 2mg to give you additional A1C control. And while your dose may change, nothing will change about how you take Semaglutide® — once a week, on the same day every week.
The maximum dose of Semaglutide® is 2 mg once a week. Always follow your health care provider's instructions on Semaglutide® dosing.
Additional Dosage Information:
Take Semaglutide® once a week, with or without food, on the same day every week, exactly as prescribed by your health care provider.
If your last injection was taken two days ago or longer, you are free to switch the day of the week that you take Semaglutide®.
Other medications that contain semaglutide or other GLP-1 receptor agonists should not be taken together with Elite Bioscience Semaglutide/Ozempic®.
Mixing Instructions (Starting and Maintenance Dosage)
Using Bacteriostatic Water or Saline Water for Injection, using the Peptide Mixing Instructions add 2 ml of solution to your Elite Bioscience - Semaglutide Vial.
Once reconstituted every 10 on the Insulin Syringe will be equal to 0.25 mg (the Starting Dosage) of Semaglutide.
20 on the Insulin Syringe will therefore be equal to 0.50 mg (the Maintenance Dosage)
Mixing Instructions (1.0 and 2.0 mg Dosage)
Using Bacteriostatic Water or Saline Water for Injection, using the Peptide Mixing Instructions add 1 ml of solution to your Elite Bioscience - Semaglutide Vial.
Once reconstituted every 20 on the Insulin Syringe will be equal to 1.0 mg (1.0 mg Additional Control Dosage) of Semaglutide.
40 on the Insulin Syringe will therefore be equal to 2.0 mg (2.0 mg Additional Control Dosage).
