Benefits Of Using BioPrimo® (Primobolan) For Injury Healing

by Ryan McTeigue on July 13, 2023

Androgenic Anabolic compounds can provide numerous health benefits, including improved pain tolerance as well as enhanced muscle growth and strength. As a result, AAS have the potential to be used to treat a wide range of illnesses, diseases, and health complications, including sports injuries.
A mild sports injury is usually treated by resting the affected body part for the first 72 hours. Ice can be applied to the affected area to reduce swelling, and pain relievers like ibuprofen or Tylenol/paracetamol can help with the pain caused by the injury.
For more serious injuries, medical professionals may refer a patient to a specialist, such as physiotherapy. Some serious sports injuries, such as fractured bones and torn ligaments, may necessitate surgical intervention and additional pharmacological treatments are recommended to accelerate healing and recovery. Among these type of medication, Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) and Anabolic Steroids are fast becoming the go-to supplement to fast-track the period for recuperation.
Sports Injury Prevention
Sports injuries can be avoided by taking the necessary precautions when preparing for a sports event or engaging in an intense workout. Warming up before training and cooling down after your exercise sessions can help the body adjust to the start or end of exercise.
Learning the proper techniques for a specific drill or athletic move, as well as using the proper equipment for the exercises being performed, reduces the risk of injury.
Individuals should also be aware of their present fitness level and thresholds in order to avoid overexertion and injury.

Can AAS be Used to Treat Sports Injuries?
Unfortunately, research into the effects of steroid use is limited due to the reluctance of institutional review boards to approve anabolic steroid use on a non-clinical population.
As a result, the majority of studies on this topic are conducted on athletes who self-administer the drugs. These athletes also use other medications and drugs that have varying effects, affecting the accuracy of these results. The various sports and physical activities that these athletes engage in make them more prone to injuries, which may alter study these results even further.
Animals have been used to test anabolic steroids as treatments for contusion and strain injuries. One research used rat models with reproducible muscle contusion injuries were used in this study. There were three groups: control, anabolic steroid, and corticosteroid.
The corticosteroid group initially showed significant improvements, which were later reversed, resulting in muscle degeneration. The anabolic steroid group initially showed no improvement, but by 14 days showed significant improvements in twitch tetanic strength without muscle degeneration. The authors of the study concluded that corticosteroids were beneficial in the short term but detrimental in the long term, whereas androgenic anabolic steroids could improve muscle repair and aid in the healing of muscle contusion injuries.
Metenolone/Methenolone enanthate, sold under the brand names BioPrimo®  and Primobolan Depot, is an androgen and anabolic steroid (AAS) medication which is used mainly in the treatment of anemia due to bone marrow failure. It is given by injection into muscle. Additional research has highlighted the importance of anabolic steroids in potentially assisting in the repair of damaged skeletal muscles following an injury.
As a derivative of DHT, BioPrimo® (Metenolone), is not aromatized, and so has no propensity for producing estrogenic side effects like gynecomastia, mood swings and fluid retention.

Anabolic steroids like BioPrimo® (Primobolan) have also been shown to be very effective in assisting in the repair of orthopedic injuries by directly assisting in skeletal repair and facilitating muscle repair, which further allowed for strengthening of the bones.
In one study, results showed that 5a-DHT has the potential to promote proliferation, differentiation, and mineralization in MC3T3-E1 cells. The ability of 5a-DHT to stimulate proliferation and differentiation in MC3T3-E1 cells was notable, with a favorable effect on osteoblastic differentiation and maturation as well as collagen deposition. Both are essential for bone healing and remodeling.
According to the findings, 5a-DHT has a significant potential for promoting bone formation and maintaining homeostasis in bone tissue formation. Hence, BioPrimo® (Primobolan), as a DHT-derivative, is a promising compound that facilitates healing in bone fractures while equally significant in fostering muscle repair.
Depending on the type of injury you have sustained, our recommended Primobolan dose can land anywhere in the range of 50-100mg (.5 ml- 1 ml) twice a week.
Our injectable BioPrimo® preparation holds a half-life of 10 days due to the Enanthate ester attached to Methenolone,  which can be administered twice weekly, with each injection spaced evenly apart from one another (e.g., every Monday and Thursday).
